Making headway, at a snails pace! But have found an architect to employ/join up with for some simple working design plans. Irronically, I found him bye way of volunteering for Habitat for Humanity.. Found the right straw board manufacturer... unfortunately, in Canada and they don't sell in less than a twenty five sheet bundles... $$$$. + shipping!
My personal lifes' been in a real whirlwind of late. Between health issues, frantic job searching, and really crappy weather. Health has recovered with employment finally in hand, things are looking up.. Save for us getting an ice storm about every three days. And, yes we have two more aimed for us. One on Friday, and what could be a serious come Sunday.
In the midst of all that turmoil (you might have read this on OkieBaleHeads), life itself almost came to an shocking end.. With an extension ladder (me attached) coming within two inches of contacting the overhead power lines feeding the house during high gale winds! Was almost turned into fried taters..
I'd blather on about other things, and eventually say something humorous, 'cause there's been plenty to laugh at (in a pathetic way) of late. But for now I've got to go fill out the final employment papers, and pee into a cup (oh joy). More, later...
