A passionate advocate for people with Post Traumatic Stress, founded a new organization to provide a "Carrot of Hope" for this population which is composed of compassionate, driven and highly motivated people who are struggling to find a way to remove the triggers created by trauma and contribute to the world around them.

The ultimate goal is to establish non-profit healing centers which holistically treat Post Traumatic Stress. By removing individuals from life stresses, the body has an opportunity to bring fight-or-flight chemicals into balance. As the body learns to maintain these levels, individuals are provided with support to map a new path for their lives while in a safe and strengthening environment.

Carrot of Hope is looking for donations of land in Northern California to build its first site. In addition, it is looking for donations of time, material and labor to construct a special home where individuals can receive well rounded care in a healthy and inspiring environment.
