As far as I know a metal
As far as I know a metal roof is cheaper but won't last as much as wood or tiles. When you calculate the cost of hiring a roofing contractor to replace it in several years, plus the cost of the materials for the replacement it will probably cost even more than the alternatives. I'm quite surprised they chose this option on such a beautiful stone house.
