Tippy Bushkin

Tippy graduated from NYU film school hungry to tell stories, but had no interest in living in Hollywood. She had discovered a great love for the documentary style of narrative filmmaking while in school, and ultimately, she was compelled to capture real life, as she found it to be far more interesting than anything she had seen in Hollywood movies for a long time.

Tippy spent almost three years working for LucasFilm, running their documentary department and directing and producing behind-the-scenes documentaries of the last Star Wars film. She has directed a feature length music video with the film composer John Williams, and has been hired by photographer Annie Leibovitz for her bio the PBS series American Masters.
