Hope y'all enjoy the Remarkable Trees of Virginia Project book and website my cousin, Nancy Ross Hugo, has created with Dr. Jeffrey Kirwan at Virginia Tech.

Uhm, for totally unbiased reasons... : )
Book coming out soon!

roots
really awesome. I like the one with all the roots coming out of the ground (yours is a close second :))- maxmsf
Remarkable
Unbiased my foot. But I did vote for the one in the cemetary here in Winchester so I won't hate. I just think that the beautiful tree looks protective in the cemetary. Thanks for another great one.

I loved that one as well, and the one with all the roots... and even more, just trolling the database they have accumulated and learning about trees that move families, towns, regions... and the great stories people have shared about the trees that are so meaningful to them.
