Imperium Central Vacuum with Motor Timer

Central Vacuum Stores has introduced the all new Imperium Time Machine, the central vacuum with a built-in timer. If you shop central vacuum systems you will find that motors are rated according to hours. For example, a unit might be rated for 1000 hours. This means that the motor in that unit is expected run for about 1000 hours. So, if you run your vacuum an hour a week then your central vacuum, rated at 1000 hours, should last around 19 years. Well, the Time Machine takes the guessing out of how long your motor has run. The timer on the front of the machine tells you exactly how many hours your system has been operating. Also, included right on the Time Machine, under the timer, is a list of maintenance suggestions to keep your system running top notch. The timer on our Time Machine is simple...no fancy gadgets...it just works.

Central Vacuum with Extended Motor Life

In a previous post I mentioned some of the features of a central vacuum system that make it an excellent green building choice...improved indoor air quality, made of recyclable steel, no paper bags so less of an impact on forests, and turbine powered brushes instead of electric brushes. Imperium Industries has a central vacuum with all these features plus an added bonus. The Imperium 7800 has a Premier 7.2" Tangential By-Pass Motor with a brush interrupter. This means when the carbon brushes wear down the interrupter stops the motor before it is damaged. The carbon brushes can then be easily replaced, thus prolonging the life of the motor. A feature like this makes good sense for everyone, but if you are concerned about impacting the environment, prolonging the life of a central vacuum motor means less impact on landfills. If you are considering a central vacuum system, why not look at the product that doesn't just say their motor lasts longer, but provides a way for it to last longer. This is just another way to conserve resources which is the heart of green building.
