If there's one article of clothing that's hard to part with, it's a good, worn-in pair of blue jeans. Some pairs last for so long, they take on sentimental significance—they were there with you when you graduated college, when you had your heart borken for the first time, etc. Truly, the trash is no place to abandon a good pair of jeans.
So why not recycle them?
Bonded Logic, the Arizona-based blue jean insulation manufacturer, is about to establish some blue jean drop off centers. Stay tuned for more information and locations.

Where can I take them
I have some old jean that I can no longer wear. I hate the idea of just throwing them away and would like to recycle them. I live in Portland Oregon and need to know of a place in the area I can take them to be recycled. Please help. thank you.
blue jeans
My Mom and sister are quilters and have used old blue jeans to make quilts. However we still have a lot of parts left and I hesitate to just throw them in the trash. I would like to know where and how I can recycle them. I have heard they use them to make insulation for houses and I think it is a wonderful idea. I live in New Mexico and am not aware of a place here where I can drop them off. Please help. Thank You
I am in the same boat here.
I don't have a lot yet but am getting bags ready from my quilt scraps. Did you find any answers? Thanks.
Blue jean recycling
I am wondering if there is a way to donate blue jeans to this company since I live in the midwest...no where near Arizona! However, I have lots of worn out blue jeans that I hate dumping into the landfill.
recycled jeans/ for insulation
Would really like to know where I can send or drop off jeans for insulation so that they aren't put in the landfills

I also live in the midwest with blue jeans that need a new home. How can I donate them? Where?
