Solar Panels

I have seen endless advertising on the benefits of solar (photovoltaic) roof systems for the home. However, I cannot seem to find out which companies are manufacuring the panels to do a reasonable comparison of which system is best for me (i.e. quality and cost). Can you help by pointing me to a web site(s) or provide a list of companies that supply panels for residential use?
