The Electric Rickshaw Concept
Rickshaws have been around especially when it comes to coming up with some eco-friendly forms of transportation but adding some electric juice should all the more spice them up.
Apparently these Electric Rickshaws which were on hand at the Peugeot Concours Design in 2006, makes use of the concept of gyroscopes and travels on a set of just two-wheels instead of the usual three rickshaws around the globe use instead today.
The wheels are each attached to an asymmetrical axle permits them to change their relative centers enabling it to have different configurations.
To enter, one must use the front of the vehicle. The Rickshaw also has individually powered wheels, allowing it to rotate on the spot making parking a lot easier. This one can seat two.

Though just a concept for now, the O3 Oxygen bottle comes with some perks and eco-friendly concerns. For one, this concept by Pedro Gomes should help urge people to realize the seriousness for the need of oxygen by turning it into a luxury which only some can afford or may be interested in.
While it is not something that should be taken seriously for now, the fact remains that the O3 oxygen bottle will someday be a commodity as well. Weird? Well perhaps but you will agree that the air we breathe these days are no longer as clean and healthy compared to before.

Acta of Italy is hitting two birds with one station. Aside from boasting of solar powered stations, they will reportedly offer hydrogen re-fueling. The pumps will solicit power from the sun to produce hydrogen fuel from water using electrolysis.
Hydrogen doesn’t require long recharges like batteries would and it makes emission-creating production lines unnecessary. Also, they can work with another energy source like batteries.

A bit gross but the whole concept does offer a neat waste-to-power solution. This is with regards to the X-runner, an ingenious brainchild that brings poop or waste to good use. Apparently it all starts with a waste barrel which is is sealed and nano-coated in a way that allows them to be used for a week at a time without emptying or cleaning.
Once full or ready to be emptied, the barrel is brought by an individual or a multi-barrel servce to the local Biogas Plant. Waste is traded for energy in the form of cooking gas, warm water for showers, or electricity.
All of these forms of energy are generated by processing the human waste at the Biogas Plant.

Have you heard the story of Marisa Lynch who turns used dresses into new hip dresses for a dollar a day?
Her story is modeled after Julie and Julia, the book and movie that featured a blogger cooking a recipe from Julia Child’s and then writing about it daily. Her story is similar she wanted to find something to do everyday that would give her meaning and purpose, not too mention bring some fun back into her life.
After seeing the movie one night and having been recently fired from her job, Marisa gave herself a challenge. The challenge was to make a cute new hip dress every day out of a vintage dress found in thrift shops. She has since amassed quite a collection on her blog and as of this writing; has created, photographed, styled, modeled, up-cycled and written about more than 200 dresses.
How does she do it? She sources her “fashion disasters” at thrift shops around town, then gets inspiration from magazines or her own head and recycles the dress into something fun, unique and fashion forward. See all her vintage finds at New Dress A Day.

Boxes Made Out of Old Circuit Boards
Here is an idea for you, although you may need a lot of resourcefulness and imagination to make one if you intend to on your own. These are stunning looking boxes made from old circuit boards made by New York Artist Theo Kamecke.
Using the metal traces as a wood artist would do for wood veneer, these metal traces are cut up and matched with mirror image parts to create the alluring patterns. In addition to the boxes, Kamecke has also created larger works including cabinets and chests.
A cool idea to perhaps aid in the process of properly disposing of e-waste or in this case, recycling them into something useful and artistic.
